18FA Appointment and qualifications of Judicial Registrars
(1) The Minister may appoint any qualified person to be a Judicial Registrar of the Court.
(2) A person is qualified for appointment as a Judicial Registrar if the person is an Australian lawyer.
(3) A Judicial Registrar is to devote the whole of the Judicial Registrar’s time to the office of Judicial Registrar.
(4) The office of Judicial Registrar is a statutory office and the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (including Part 6) does not apply to that office.
(5) A Judicial Registrar is an officer of the Court.
(6) Schedule 1A has effect with respect to a Judicial Registrar.
