6 MLAs as employers
(1) For this Act, a member of the Legislative Assembly (in his or her
capacity as an office-holder or otherwise) is taken to be an employer
in relation to a person who is, or who is seeking to be, employed under
the Legislative Assembly (Members’ Staff) Act 1989, section 5 or 10
as a member of the staff of the member.
