23B Competitions
It is unlawful for a person responsible for the organisation or
administration of a formally organised competition to discriminate
against another person in relation to participation in the competition.
Examples—formally organised competition
• singing competition organised by a commercial radio station
• weekend chess competition for individuals under 18 years old
• short film festival run by a not-for-profit organisation
