E4.              What the grant funds can be used for

Eligible expenditure

E4.1                The grant funds can be used for the activities set out in Section 5 of these grant guidelines, subject to the following limitations:

1. teaching relief for CIs may be supported up to a total of $50,000 per CI per year per project; and
2. travel costs essential to the project may be supported up to $50,000 over the project activity period. Travel and accommodation costs related to carrying out field research or any carers’ costs are not included in this $50,000 limit.
