A2.             Grant amount and grant period

A2.1               We may award up to 17 Australian Laureate Fellowships in a grant opportunity, including the Kathleen Fitzpatrick Australian Laureate Fellowship and Georgina Sweet Australian Laureate Fellowship.

A2.2               We provide a salary supplement and project funding as detailed in Table 3. Salary and/or project funding will not be awarded separately.

The salary and stipend figures in this section are based on the 2019 price levels of funding and will be subject to variation (for example, due to annual indexation). Updated levels will be available on the ARC website.

A2.4               You must provide an Australian Laureate Fellow with a Level E professorial appointment (or equivalent) and salary in line with Your organisation’s normal arrangements for the duration of the Australian Laureate Fellowship. The salary supplement provided by the ARC contributes to that salary.
