sec.277 References to eligibility declarations etc.

The purpose of this section is to explain references to any of the following in a provision of this Act as in force immediately after the commencement— an eligibility application; an eligibility declaration; a provision of proposed part 5, division 10. Proposed part 5, division 10 provides for the making of an eligibility application and the issue of an eligibility declaration to a person. Proposed part 5, division 10 is to commence at the stage 2 commencement date, which is after the commencement. A reference in part 5 to a thing mentioned in subsection (1)(a) to (c) does not have any effect until the stage 2 commencement date.
