80 Appointment of investigators

S. 80(1) substituted by No. 17/2020 s. 6.

(1) The Board may appoint a person referred to in section 32A as an investigator for the purposes of this Part.

(2) The Board must not appoint a person to be an investigator unless the Board is satisfied that the person is suitably qualified or trained to be an investigator for the purposes of this Part.

(3) An appointment of a person as an investigator must specify the functions, duties and powers under this Part and Part 14 in respect of which the person is appointed as an investigator.
