84 Protection from liability

(1)  This section applies to the following persons:

(a) the Minister;

(b) the Secretary;

(c) the Commissioner;

(d) the Senior Practitioner;

(e) an authorised officer;

(f) a member of the Disability Inclusion Advisory Council;

(g) an appointed program officer;

(h) an independent person for a person with disability;

(i) a community visitor;

(j) any other person performing a function or exercising a power under this Act.

(2)  An action does not lie against any person to whom this section applies, or to any person acting under the direction of any person to whom this section applies, in respect of any act done in good faith and in the performance, or purported performance, of a function imposed, or the exercise, or purported exercise, of a power conferred, by or under this Act.
