47 Annual report

(1)  The Senior Practitioner must provide to the Secretary, by 1 September in each year, a report consisting of –

(a) information on the performance of the functions, and the exercise of the powers, of the Senior Practitioner during the previous financial year; and

(b) data relating to the use of restrictive practices during the previous financial year; and

(c) observations on systemic issues in relation to restrictive practices.

(2)  A report provided to the Secretary under subsection (1) must not enable a person with disability to be identified.

(3)  The Secretary must ensure that a copy of the report provided to the Secretary under subsection (1) is published on a website operated by, or on behalf of, the Department –

(a) for at least 12 months after it is so provided; and

(b) in accessible formats.
