159 Security conditions S. 159(1) amended by Nos 19/2019 s. 131(1), 9/2023 s. 50. (1) Subject to section 159A, a resident detained in a residential treatment facility or absent from a residential treatment facility on leave under this or any other Act is subject to such security conditions as the Authorised Program Officer considers necessary. S. 159(2) amended by No. 19/2019 s. 131(2). (2) A resident detained in a residential treatment facility may be transported to and from any places as may be necessary for the administration of this or any other Act in accordance with those security conditions. S. 159(3) substituted by No. 9/2023 s. 120. (3) A resident detained in a residential treatment facility is in the custody of the Secretary until the order under which the resident is detained ceases or is terminated, unless the order or an enactment otherwise provides.
