132I Obligations of person executing a warrant on entry (1) A person who executes a warrant issued under section 132H— (a) must announce that the person is authorised by the warrant to enter the premises; and (b) if the person has been unable to obtain unforced entry, must give any person at the premises an opportunity to allow entry to the premises. (2) If the occupier is present at the premises where a warrant issued under section 132H is being executed, the person executing the warrant must— (a) identify themself to the occupier; and (b) give the occupier a copy of the warrant. (3) If the occupier is not present at the premises where a warrant issued under section 132H is being executed, the person executing the warrant must— (a) identify themself to the person apparently in charge of the premises; and (b) give the person a copy of the warrant.
