166 Delegation—Digital ID Data Standards Chair

(1) The Digital ID Data Standards Chair may delegate, in writing, any or all of the Chair’s functions or powers under this Act to a person assisting the Chair under section 115 who is: (a) an SES employee, or an acting SES employee; or (b) an APS employee who is holding or performing the duties of a specified office or position that the Chair is satisfied is sufficiently senior for the APS employee to perform the function or exercise the power. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to the function referred to in section 99 (about making Digital ID Data Standards). (3) In performing a delegated function or exercising a delegated power, the delegate under subsection (1) must comply with any directions of the Digital ID Data Standards Chair.
