Plain English Summary
5/10 complexity
This Determination uses powers in the annual Appropriation Acts to reduce specified appropriation line items for named Commonwealth agencies by the dollar amounts shown. Each reduction is made by the Minister for Finance only after a written request from the agency’s responsible Minister and is recorded in the Schedules. It affects agencies’ available budget lines (departmental payments, CAC Act payments, administered items and equity injections) and therefore reduces funds those agencies can draw on.
Zoe can write the in-depth analysis on top of the summary above: how it works, who it affects and what each part actually does.
