Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The instrument is a Ministerial determination fixing 22 September 2017 as the final day to lodge applications for HFC quotas covering the first two‑year allocation period beginning 1 January 2018 (made under subregulation 44(3)). It commences the day after registration. Affected parties are anyone seeking HFC quotas for that period; the measure is procedural but material — missing the deadline may prevent consideration for quota allocation and forces earlier planning and application costs.
