##### 42B Disobedience to summons an offence
(1) A person who has been summoned to appear as a witness before the Registrar must not, after tender of reasonable expenses, fail to appear in obedience to the summons.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 6 months.
(2) A person who has been required by the Registrar to produce a document or article must not, after tender of reasonable expenses, fail to produce the document or article.
Penalty for contravention of this subsection: Imprisonment for 6 months.
(3) Subsection (1) or (2) does not apply if the person has a lawful excuse.
