#### 83 Provision of assistance to authorised officers 83 Provision of assistance to authorised officers > > (1) An authorised officer may direct the owner or occupier of premises, or a person in or on premises (other than a public place), to provide any reasonable assistance that the authorised officer specifies for the purposes of exercising the authorised officer’s functions under this Division with respect to those premises. > > > (2) The direction may be given orally to the person or by written notice served on the person.
