#### 26 Requirements for compliance declarations before issue of building certificates 26 Requirements for compliance declarations before issue of building certificates > The regulations may make provision for or with respect to prohibiting the issue of one or more of the following unless compliance declarations or regulated designs, or both, have been provided to the issuer of the certificate— > > > (a) a complying development certificate under, or a certificate under Part 6 of, the [Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1979-203), > > > (b) a strata certificate within the meaning of the [Strata Schemes Development Act 2015](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2015-051), > > > (c) a certificate of compliance within the meaning of the [Swimming Pools Act 1992](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1992-049).
