#### 105 Secretary may require information about insurance policies 105 Secretary may require information about insurance policies > > (1) The Secretary may direct a person who issues insurance policies to registered practitioners for the purposes of this Act to provide to the Secretary information, as may be specified by the Secretary, about the following matters relating to policies or particular classes of policies issued for the purposes of this Act by the person— > > > > > (a) the terms of the policies, > > > > > (b) the premiums payable, > > > > > (c) the number of policies issued, > > > > > (d) the registered practitioners to whom policies have been issued, > > > > > (e) the number and value of claims made under the policies, > > > > > (f) any other information prescribed by the regulations. > > > (2) The Secretary may direct that the information be provided in the time specified in the direction. > > > (3) A direction under this section must be given in writing. > > > (4) A person must not fail to comply with a direction given to the person under this section. > > > > Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
