#### 33 Simplified outline The following is a simplified outline of this Part: • This Part authorises certain uses and disclosures of protected information. • Except as authorised by this Part, an entrusted public official must not disclose protected information. • An entrusted public official must not, except for the purposes of this Act, be required: (a) to disclose protected information to a court or tribunal; or (b) produce documents that contain protected information in a court or tribunal. • This Part also sets out a number of offences relating to the disclosure etc. of protected information.
