#### Offences Against Property 3. For the purposes of section 9, the expression offence against property includes, without prejudice to the generality of the expression, burglary, housebreaking, stealing, larceny, embezzlement, any form of wrongful taking or appropriation of property, obtaining property by extortion, fraud or false pretences, and any form of malicious damage to property, as provided by the law in force in that part of Australia in which the offence is committed.
