Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

A Defence Minister’s list names 26 countries (including the US, UK, Canada, Japan and most EU states) as approved destinations for supplying Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL) technology.

That means Australian businesses, researchers and individuals dealing in military or dual‑use tech can supply these trusted allies without the usual export permit (or under simplified rules), easing collaboration while export controls still apply to others.
