#### 25 No requirement to take leave during defence service (1) This section applies if a member is employed by a person under a contract of employment that allows the member any type of paid or unpaid leave. (2) The employer must not require the member to take the leave concurrently with all or part of his or her absence on defence service. (3) Subsection (2) does not apply to the extent that the member agrees to take the leave concurrently with all or part of that absence.
