62Permission requirements

#### 62 Permission requirements (1) Permission for the purposes of section 59, 60 or 61 must be given in writing and must specify the period for which the permission is effective. (2) Permission may be subject to conditions (including conditions in relation to the conduct of the person to whom the permission is given) that are reasonably required for: (a) the protection of persons and property in the defence area; or (b) the safety or defence of Australia; or (c) the protection of official secrets. (3) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person is given permission for the purposes of section 59, 60 or 61; and (b) the person engages in conduct that is in breach of a condition of the permission. Penalty: 20 penalty units.
