#### 18 Voluntary change (1) The Chief of the Defence Force may change a period of service for a member if the member applies for, or agrees to, the change. (2) The change is subject to any conditions specified by the Chief of the Defence Force. (3) Change a period of service includes the following: (a) extend a period of service; (b) reduce a period of service; (c) convert a fixed period of service to an indefinite period of service; (d) convert an indefinite period of service to a fixed period of service.
