#### 40 Temporary promotion (1) A Chief may promote an enlisted member of the Chief’s Service to a rank temporarily. (2) The Chief of the enlisted member’s Service may extend the period during which the enlisted member holds the rank. (3) The Chief of an enlisted member’s Service may revoke a temporary promotion under this regulation at any time.
