If: (a) an enlisted member is enlisted provisionally; and (b) the enlisted member complies with all conditions mentioned in subregulation 27(2); and (c) the enlisted member’s enlistment has not been terminated; the Chief of the enlisted member’s Service must, as soon as practicable, confirm the enlistment.
