Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This 1963 regulation fixes the daily pay rates (in pounds, shillings and pence) used to calculate superannuation for permanent Australian Defence Force members across Navy, Army and Air Force, covering all ranks and both sexes. It aligns equivalent ranks across services, provides pay grades that rise with service for some roles, and protects personnel temporarily serving in lower‑paid training ranks so their retirement benefits aren’t reduced. These rates directly determine contributions and pension payouts.
