136 of 1979

Collection

legislative instrument

Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This instrument repeals the regulations that created dedicated review tribunals for appeals about Defence Force retirement and death benefits under the DFRDB scheme.

That removal affects current and former Australian Defence Force members and their dependants: they lose the specific tribunal avenue for contesting benefit decisions and must rely on courts or general administrative review routes instead.
