89Suspension of consideration of complaints referred to Chief of the Defence Force

#### 89 Suspension of consideration of complaints referred to Chief of the Defence Force If: (a) a complaint has been referred to the Chief of the Defence Force under subregulation 87(1); and (b) the subject matter of the complaint is also subject to an external process, disciplinary action (including a review or appeal under the Defence Force Discipline Act 1982 or the Defence Force Discipline Appeals Act 1955), or an alternative dispute resolution process; and (c) the Chief of the Defence Force is satisfied that it would be appropriate for the external process, disciplinary action or alternative dispute resolution process to be completed before making a decision on the complaint; the Chief of the Defence Force may suspend the complaint resolution process until the external process, disciplinary action or alternative dispute resolution process has been completed.
