6 Further provision with respect to certain members of the Defence Force (1) In this section, prescribed class, in relation to members of the Defence Force, means any of the following classes of such members: (a) chaplains; (b) members who have not attained the age of 18 years; (c) members receiving instruction or training. (2) The regulations may make further provision relating to the discipline of members of the Defence Force included in a prescribed class and, in particular, may make provision for: (a) the exemption of those members from any provision of this Act, other than this section; and (b) the modification of any provision of this Act, other than this section or subsection 68(1) or 68A(1), so far as it relates to those members. (3) Regulations made by virtue of subsection (2) shall not modify a provision of this Act so as to increase the severity of the punishment provided by this Act for a service offence.
