This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Determination establishes the ADF’s official banned-substance list, covering WADA classes S0, S1, S2 and S4–S9 (performance-enhancers), Poisons Standard Schedules 4, 8 and 9 (prescription/controlled/prohibited drugs), and named chemicals such as DMAA, DMHA, GBL, Cardarine and 1,1,1‑Trichloroethane.
It applies to all Navy, Army and Air Force personnel: use, possession or a positive test without authority can trigger disciplinary action under Part VIIIA of the Defence Act to protect operational readiness and safety.
