Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This instrument declares six military storage sites—identified only by codes rather than addresses—as "explosive ordnance depots" under the Defence Act 1903.

That brings them under heightened legal protections and security rules, affecting ADF personnel who manage munitions, anyone seeking access (unauthorized entry risks criminal penalties), and nearby contractors or landowners; the coded IDs keep precise locations non‑public for operational security.
