82 Assistant Commissioners
(1) The Commissioner may, in writing, appoint a person as an Assistant Commissioner to assist the Commissioner in the performance of the Commissioner’s functions.
(2) A person must not be appointed as an Assistant Commissioner unless the Commissioner is satisfied that the person has appropriate skills and experience.
(3) The Commissioner may appoint more than one person as an Assistant Commissioner under subsection (1).
(4) An Assistant Commissioner must comply with any directions of the Commissioner.
(5) A direction under subsection (4) is not a legislative instrument.
