123F Certain persons not permitted to serve in Defence Force A person shall not be permitted to serve in the Defence Force if: (a) that person has been convicted of a crime that, in the opinion of the Chief of the Defence Force, is such as to render that person unsuitable for service in the Defence Force; or (b) the service of that person in the Defence Force might, in the opinion of the Chief of the Defence Force, be prejudicial to the security of Australia.
