sec.37 Misrepresentation
A debt collector or subagent must not by any false or misleading representation induce a person to enter into an arrangement for the payment of a debt. Maximum penalty—200 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment. In this section— false or misleading , in relation to a representation, includes the wilful concealment of a material fact in the representation. induce includes attempt to induce.
