9 Relationship of regulations to approved codes of practice and incorporated documents (1) An approved code of practice or incorporated document has no effect to the extent that it is inconsistent with a regulation. (2) However, an approved code of practice or incorporated document must not be taken to be inconsistent with a regulation to the extent that it can operate concurrently.
