83 Handling of certain dangerous substances to be notified (1) A person in control of the handling of a dangerous substance commits an offence if— (a) a regulation requires the handling of the substance to be notified to the work health and safety commissioner; and (b) the person fails to ensure that the work health and safety commissioner is notified of the handling of the substance in accordance with the regulation. Note Handling a dangerous substance includes importing, manufacturing, storing, supplying, possessing, receiving or using the substance (see s 11).
