25 Safety management system required for certain people in control of handling dangerous substances (1) This section applies to a person in control of— (a) the manufacture, import or supply of a dangerous substance; or (b) any other handling of a dangerous substance prescribed by (2) The person must— (a) ensure that a safety management system for handling the dangerous substance is prepared and documented; and Note 2 A person in control of premises is also required to have a safety management system for the handling of dangerous substances at the premises (see s 31).
