135 Person in charge etc to be told sample to be analysed (1) This section applies if an inspector proposes to take, or takes, a sample of a substance for analysis from premises where a dangerous substance is handled. (2) Before or as soon as practicable after taking the sample, the inspector must tell a person in charge of the premises of the inspector’s intention to have the sample analysed. (3) If a person in charge is not present or readily available, the inspector must instead tell the person from whom the sample was obtained of the inspector’s intention to have the sample analysed.
