Western Australia regulation
It prescribes detailed obligations for the road and rail transport of non‑explosive dangerous goods: who must do what (consignors, packers, loaders, prime contractors, drivers, owners and rail operators), what packaging, vehicles, equipment and documentation are required, and penalties for non‑compliance (eg regs 14, 47–49, 149–166). It gives effect to the ADG Code, empowers the Chief Officer to approve, determine or exempt items and packaging (regs 15, 17–21, 56), and creates targeted exemptions for private/small loads and special uses (regs 11–13B).
