112 Amendment of improvement notices (1) An improvement notice given by an authorised person other than a police officer may only be amended by an authorised person other than a police officer. (2) An improvement notice given by a police officer may only be amended by a police officer. (3) An authorised person may amend an improvement notice given to a person by giving the person a written notice (an improvement amendment notice) stating the terms of the amendment. (4) An amendment of an improvement notice is ineffective if it purports to deal with a failure to comply with a provision of this Act different from the provision dealt with in the improvement notice it purports to amend. (5) An improvement amendment notice must state— (a) the reasons for the amendment; and (b) that the notice is given under this section.
