249 Competent Authority to reconsider decisions
(1) Within 28 days after receiving the application or such longer period allowed under regulation 248(1)(b) , the Competent Authority must reconsider the decision, and confirm, revoke or vary the decision.
(2) The Competent Authority must inform the applicant in writing of the result of the reconsideration and of the reasons for the result.
