231 Replacement licences
(1) The licensing authority may issue a replacement licence to a licensee if –
(a) the licence is renewed; or
(b) the licence is varied; or
(c) a period of suspension of the licence ends or a suspension is withdrawn.
(2) The licensing authority must issue a replacement licence to a licensee if the authority is satisfied that a licence has been defaced, destroyed, lost or stolen.
