#### 27 Offence: failure to comply with investigation notice 27 Offence: failure to comply with investigation notice > While an investigation notice is in force, the person to whom the notice is issued must— > > > (a) stop the use or movement of, or interference with, any substance or thing that is specified in the notice, and > > > (b) take measures to prevent the disturbance of any substance or thing that is specified in the notice, or any specified area in which it is located. > > Maximum penalty—100 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months, or both, for an individual or 500 penalty units for a body corporate.
