#### 23 Offence of obstructing or intimidating authorised officers and others exercising functions under Act 23 Offence of obstructing or intimidating authorised officers and others exercising functions under Act > A person must not— > > > (a) obstruct, hinder or impede any authorised officer or a person assisting an authorised officer in the exercise of the officer’s functions under this Act, or > > > (b) intimidate or threaten or attempt to intimidate any authorised officer in the exercise of the officer’s functions under this Act. > > Maximum penalty—100 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months, or both, for an individual or 500 penalty units for a body corporate.
