188Supply of gas

188 Supply of gas (1) This regulation applies to the supply of fuel gas including the supply through a gas main or the filling of a gas container but does not apply to the supply of fuel gas in disposable containers.

Dangerous Goods Regulations 1985 56 (2) The supply of L.P. gas shall be carried out in accordance with AS 1596 "The storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gases". (3) A gas supplier shall not supply fuel gas to a gas container or a fuel gas system where: (a) the gas container or the fuel gas system does not comply with these Regulations; (b) a notice has been attached to the gas container or fuel gas system by an officer stating that the gas container is not to be filled or the fuel gas system is not to be supplied with gas; or (c) the gas container is fitted to a vehicle, ship or machine as part of an autogas system and the vehicle, ship or machine is not fitted with an autogas compliance plate.
