177 Installation, &c., to conform to standards (1) The installation, operation and maintenance of a fuel gas system (other than an autogas system) shall conform to the requirements specified in: (a) AS 1596 "The storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gases"; and (b) AS 5601 "Gas installations – General installations". (2) The installation, operation and maintenance of gas mains shall conform to the requirements specified AS 4645 "Gas distribution networks – Network management".
