#### 117 Persons to assist authorised persons acting under a warrant (1) If an authorised person enters any premises under clause 115 in accordance with a warrant issued under clause 118, the occupier or the person in charge must, if requested to do so by the authorised person, provide reasonable assistance to the authorised person in the exercise of his or her power under that clause in relation to those premises. (1A) In subclause (1), strict liability applies to the physical elements of circumstance, that: (a) the authorised person’s power is under clause 115; and (b) the issue of the warrant was under clause 118. > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code. (2) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person is subject to a requirement to provide reasonable assistance to an authorised person under subclause (1); and (b) the first‑mentioned person engages in conduct; and (c) the first‑mentioned person’s conduct contravenes the requirement. Penalty for contravention of this subclause: 30 penalty units. > Note: Chapter 2 of the Criminal Code sets out the general principles of criminal responsibility.
