1/10 complexity

This Act retroactively validates customs duties charged under the March 1942 New Zealand Preference tariff proposals (covering collections up to July 1943), removing legal doubts about their lawfulness. It protects the Commonwealth from refund claims and preserves the status of wartime tariff treatment for importers of New Zealand goods, ensuring past collections are treated as valid despite the proposals not having been enacted earlier.
