8 Ensign for Commonwealth ship
For the definition of Commonwealth ship in subsection 4(1) of the Act, the ensign for a ship is: (a) for a ship in the service of the Australian Border Force—the flag prescribed by section 11; and (b) for a ship in the service of the Royal Australian Navy—the ensign of the Royal Australian Navy; and (c) otherwise—the Australian National Flag.
